A beloved mobile health program for local children who lack access to consistent dental care is returning to Palm Beach County thanks to a transformational $500,000 gift from the Marjorie S. Fisher Fund housed at the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
Anthony Williams saw the moment it clicked. His 8-year-old son Anthony Jr. used to resist reading, to grumble when asked to pick up a book. He struggled with reading. It was something his parents had to push. But five months into a family literacy program at Pahokee Elementary School, Williams watched that completely change.
