York Hackspace is a Maker Space in York, UK. Started in 2011 in association with The Hackspace Foundation, it provides a place for old and new hackers alike to meet up in York, discuss, share and develop their own projects. To quote Noisebridge We teach, we learn, we share.
We have an open evening most Wednesdays where members and non-members meet up to share ideas, chat and make things. Membership gets you 24/7 access to the space and its facilities. Please feel welcome to come along and meet us! See the Hackspace page for more info on our current location.
The York hackers are a pretty friendly bunch so why not Get in touch?
We maintain an (always incomplete) list of equipment if you're wanting to see the sort of facilities we have.
Membership
If you'd like to make use of the space outside of open nights/weekends, get a key for 24/7 access, and generally have a say in the way the space is run, then please do consider becoming a member!
More details can be seen on the Membership page.
