Facebook Alternative

In light of the revelation of Facebook's privacy violations, some are vacating, even though the damage is done - they retain any info they have on you. However, I see potential in Diaspora. It functions well, but you have to get the hang of using hashtags, as that is how you get a page to read and contacts. I'm not saying who I am there, haha, as you will find me if we have similar interests :D
