layer2: Duplicate layer 1 // Desaturate // Set Opacity to 50%


layer3: Duplicate layer 1 // Screen // 100% Opacity


layer4: Set Gradient to Soft Light


layer5: Set Gradient to Multiply


layer6: Fill (#021725) and set to Exclusion


Layer 7: Set Gradient to Soft Light


Layer 8: Duplicate layer 1 // Set to Soft Light at 100% Opacity


Layer 9: Apply this brush in (#fff4c7) color and set to Screen

** NOTE (this can be skipped): I also went back to layer 1 and 2 and sharpened the eyes slightly and used the Burn tool on the lips
