boost!: Torchwood Collaboration Festival
Brought out of (semi)-retirement by ...

A chance to write with other Torchwood writers! More Torchwood fic! All in one great package!
Sign-ups are still open for the Torchwood Collaboration Festival. This is not like a big bang, where a single writer is paired with one or more fanwork creators (remixers, vidders, artists etc) - this is where writers work together to create a story that each of them might not have done alone.
Stop on by! Take a look! Sign up!
I love collaborative writing and I've signed up for this as soon as I noticed it (which wasn't soon, as I've been off-journal for awhile). The best part of The Virtual Series, aside from the amazing finished work, was the chance to write with other writers - all of them amazing authors (and people!) and all of us with different ideas that managed to come together to create a really well developed piece of work.
I think that collaborative work can be the most rewarding of writing, another mind involved in the process generates new ideas and directions that I couldn't have come up with alone.
I really encourage anyone who likes writing to give it a try - and this fest in particular!
Please comment on Dreamwidth because it isn't run by the Russian Mob!
