XSim

Design and simulate passive crossover circuits for audio application.

  DOWNLOAD 1.1 MB Free

XSim can be used to design passive crossover circuits. Audio crossover circuits can split audio into various frequencies, so that they can be fed separately to tweeters, midrange speakers, and bass drivers.

XSim provides a simple canvas where you can add amplifiers, resistors, inductors, capacitors, and other components. After designing, you can simulate the circuit and view the frequency response plot.

I have successfully designed a quite complex crossover with XSim and the result was stunning. Very impressive!Still, I have big issues with opening stored files. I get eithera) an error saying 'File open failed' - 'Floating point division by zero' or b) The file opens but it is somewhat corrupted. The backgrond color is blue and most values are wrong. When trying to use the file and fix it XSim doesn't work properly.I would love to learn about solutions for this.
