Well, I guess it had to happen some time. This year. 2016, we need words.
One of the BDHs has left us.
The man who played the Shepherd is being welcomed in to the eternal home by the great Shepherd.
I met Ron Glass several times. His greeting was always warm and heartfelt.
At a convention in the UK, he sat beside me during the meet-and-greet. He was wearing a Lakers hat. I asked, 'Are you a fan?'. He replied that indeed he was and the Lakers were playing back home so he'd miss the game. Knowing the resourcefulness of the tech crew, I suggested he asked the tech desk and they would almost certainly have ways of accessing the game and keep him up to speed on the ball play and indeed the score.
The look on his face is something I don't think I will ever forget....

I understand there's a Chinese curse which reads, 'May you live in interesting times'. Things are about to get interesting. Then I remember Wash's definition of 'interesting' and I wonder if we haven't sold ourselves down the river for a mess of pottage. Yes, I'm mixing metaphors; get over it!
I wouldn't be surprised, given the results, if Scotland has another seperatist vote and applies to join the EU. Same goes, possibly, for Northern Ireland. Which would almost certainly lead to a break-up of the union in some form. Thereby a monarchy more like that in the Netherlands, which could be a good thing. Hmmmm.

Dark Matter is trying pretty hard to be Firefly. It's not got there yet! We've got a Mal clone, River clone, Zoe clone and Jayne clone. We've had Reavers and 'Badger'. We've had a dodgy scientist [Amanda Tapping]. "Mal's" clone turned out to have read Niska's rule book.
