Moderate Democrats are why we have Nancy Pelosi looking over Trump's shoulder, tough House committee chairs and Democratic governors in the Blue Wall. And they will be why Dems defeat Trump in #2020. That's not "nowhere," @BilldeBlasio.

Thanks to @Emma4Change @davidhogg111 @Sarahchadwickk @cameron_kasky and their friends, everyone can see that the NRA made the wrong bets. Losing breeds panic. And for the first time in a long time, the NRA is actually losing. thebea.st/2EdsaQc #NeverAgain

Pres. Obama to House Democrats: bold solutions are great, but don't make promises you can't deliver.

We have enormous respect for Gov Dean. But we disagree on this. Democrats must say no to litmus tests, but yes to vigorous debate about whose ideas are best to beat Trump. And Sen. Sanders' ideas were crushed in the midterms - they're not the way to win.

We absolutely will - we are proud Democrats. We all strongly supported our nominee against Trump in 2016, and we will do the same in 2020. Can you say the same of your entire senior team? @ThirdWayKessler
I've committed to supporting the nominee. My question to @ThirdWayKessler and the corporate wing of the party: If we nominate a progressive who supports M4A, breaking up the big banks and taking on the billionaire class, whomever that is, will you support them against Trump?

"Socialism may resonate in bright blue districts, but it dissuades in the purple ones." And those are the exact ones Dems will need to beat Trump and hang onto their House majority. thrdwy.org/2Pdzy5l

"If you want to win more of the black vote, recognize that there are a variety of different black voters and fight for their votes individually rather than believe that it’s a one-size-fits-all approach." Critically important column by @CharlesMBlow 👇

If Democrats want a fighting chance in 2020, they'll stop looking into the fun house mirror that is social media, and cater to real voters by offering an urgently needed pragmatic progressive policy agenda.

Thanks for all the attention, Senator Sanders. But you're wrong. Your campaign is an existential threat b/c an avowed Dem Socialist is likely to lose to Trump. Still, if you win the nomination, we will strongly support you. B/C Trump is an existential threat to our republic.

Moderates got Dems "nowhere?" ...Except the Speaker's Suite ...Except chairing oversight committees ...Except the Governors' offices in not one but **ALL 3** Blue Wall states. @BilldeBlasio's "small-tent" is the path to nowhere in 2020. nydailynews.com/opinion/ny-ope… @NYDailyNews

Far-left Twitter might be fired up, but if Democrats want to prevail in 2020, they'll have to remember that Twitter isn't necessarily representative of the voting electorate.

The plot to steal the next presidential election is already underway. First in @axios, we have a deck detailing the danger to our democracy and explain how democrats—both big and small “d”—must be prepared to stop the next coup.

One year from today, No Labels will kick off a nominating convention for their third-party bid. That ticket will never be sworn in, but could make history for re-electing Trump. So we’re joining groups across the spectrum to tell @NoLabelsOrg to stand down. #NoLabelsElectsTrump
