- You’re right, words can have multiple meanings. Take for instance the words in your tweet, collectively they mean you’re no longer welcome at Combo Breaker. We’ll be refunding your entry later today. Enjoy netplay.
- Please shower. Use deodorant. Help the world be a better place today.
- For those immediately asking, we have not forgot about MVC2. So give us some time and keep that spirit bomb warmed up.
- Thank you for attending Evo 2024. While Friday and Saturday delivered much of the experience Evo’s aiming for, we know Sunday in-venue didn’t reach our ambitions for the collected Arena Experience, watch parties, and casuals area. We’re grateful for the patience & understanding
- One thing to address today in response to some posts I’m seeing, CB is not a “new Evo.” It has never tried to be, nor will it start trying to be. Evo could become “new Evo” under new management though. Expectations wise, please let CB be CB. That is its only objective.
- You aren't born just to pay bills and die. Do something with your time to enjoy your time, cause time is limited.
- Everything I have worked on in fighting games has been with the ambition of bringing our communities together. Inclusivity, community, and connectivity matter to me. It’s deeply personal that they remain part of what I work on and that the future of Evo respects that.
- With everything I have left in me, thank you. I have missed these moments more than words can say.
- My dad died. During his life he taught me perseverance, work ethic, the importance of connection, the lasting value of kindness, and the strength of family. He loved his wife, his farm, Iowa State sports, his 4 kids, and his granddaughter. I miss him more than words can say.
- Stream viewers: Please know CB will have roughly 8 minutes of ads per hour. This helps us afford the 10 streams for you. There will be a timer on the ads so you know how long each break is. Thank you for rocking with us wanting to get streamers & commentators paid for their work.
- Unpopular Fighting Game Opinion: You're supposed to be bad at fighting games. Getting good is a lifestyle, not an achievable goal.
