SDSU and USD are working with the Padres trying to play a college baseball game at Petco Park in November. It isn't finalized but is a strong possibility.

- The East Village Times 2022 Freshman of the Year is Zyrus Fiaseu (@zyruusss). An early enrollee from the class of 2021, the redshirt freshman started seven of the final eight games this season. He finished with 24 tackles on the year.
