    General Min Aung Hlaing is responsible for crimes against humanity and belongs in handcuffs. He should be arrested under universal jurisdiction if he leaves #Myanmar. The National Unity Government should be invited to ASEAN summit instead.

    There should be absolutely no diplomatic recognition of #Myanmar's military rulers. ASEAN and the UN Security Council should recognize the National Unity Government & uphold the sovereignty & human rights of Myanmar's people.

    The UN in Myanmar is following events in Bago with reports of heavy artillery being used against civilians and medical treatment being denied to those injured. The violence must cease immediately. We call on the security forces to allow medical teams to treat the wounded.
