LIVE: In response to yesterday's White House “Rededicate 250" gathering, clergy & moral leaders rally outside White House calling for an end to war in Iran & policy violence

Black man with no gun ends up dead. White protestors go into state houses with long guns & AK-47s & aren’t even arrested.

Some are calling for Juneteenth to be a national holiday. How about we go further & pass healthcare & living wages for all, a fully restored Voting Rights Act & reparations, etc. Please don’t just ask for a holiday. Let’s make it a holy day of repentance & reconstruction.

This virus is teaching us that from now on, living wages, guaranteed health care for all, unemployment & labor rights are not far left issues, but issues of right vs wrong & life vs death.

Republicans are now asking what they should do with Trump. Here’s an idea: what would you have done if it were Obama? Do that.

I’m so tired of people saying Republicans are acting out of fear of Trump. That is such a “white privilege” statement. THEY AGREE WITH TRUMP. THEY WERE EXTREME BEFORE TRUMP. READ HISTORY.

Mark my word: more things are going to come out that will prove just how guilty Trump & his enablers are. It will turn the public against them. How do we know? Read history. He looks like he’s getting away, but pride & arrogance come before a fall. Always have, always will.

How do you mourn the loss of a great champion for justice like Ruth Bader Ginsburg? You mourn deeply & you vow to continue her work with even greater resolve. Her death must bring us to life.

Please don’t just blame Trump for where we are now. Name all those who have lied for him, upheld him, covered for him, put false religion around him, & enabled him. If we end up in war, there must not be selective amnesia. Anyone who didn’t speak up bears the blame.

I’m in Alabama today to help expose the false moral narrative of political leaders who claim to be pro-life while denying people the healthcare, living wages, common sense gun laws & environmental protections we need to sustain life.

Republicans are not against vote-by-mail. They are against black, brown & poor people who will not vote for them getting access to vote-by-mail.

If Woodward’s on-tape revelations don’t persuade the nation to turn its political back on Trump, McConnell & those who have enabled them, Lord help this nation. It will reveal more about who we are than who Trump is.

Senator Susan Collins says she is appalled by Trump castigating Dr. Ford for her claim against Kavanaugh. Here’s the problem: too many are appalled by Trump’s tweets but accept & support his policies.

I don’t know why some folks are so shocked that NC, SC & MS are winnable. If Dems organize, run & fight for a progressive agenda, esp. among poor & low wealth ppl, they can win across the South.
