All of us at The R&A and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club are deeply saddened to hear that Peter Alliss has passed away. He was a wonderful servant to golf over many years and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time. Peter Alliss 1931-2020

We are saddened to learn that John Paramor, one of the most respected rules officials in golf, has died at the age of 67. He spent 40+ years with @DPWorldTour, as well as supporting the Rules of Golf and refereeing at @TheOpen. More here 👉 bit.ly/JohnParamor
