Ok, so @amymayforrester just tweeted that there is a ridiculously easy way to convert PDFs into Word and I thought “Nah, mate. That can’t be true!” It bloody ruddy well is true! It’s pure wizardry!!

Hi Gav! I know you think we’re just the nation’s babysitters, but is there any chance you could tell us what’s happening next week please? You see, we’ve got lesson planning to do... which we have to do even over Christmas! Can you believe it?! Thanks, hun 😘 @GavinWilliamson

Anyone want to join my “we’ve still got a week left” club? Those who finish on Thursday need not apply.

Turns out if you’re pregnant when Y11 leave, they buy you baby clothes! 🥰😍

Comment from one of my Y9s today: “Miss, at the beginning of the year you were so chill. Now you’re not chill.” Welcome to week 5 kid. This is me til July now.

Why am I so excessively tired all the time? Seriously. Yes I know, I’m 38, I have a toddler, but I’m really struggling at the moment. I already take Vit D and Iron. I don’t drink coffee. Any tips? Any advice? I need some energy!

Just read a ‘new mum’ article that said “You can’t remember when you last showered or even ate… but it’s all worth it!” Rubbish. This sort of messaging is toxic and teaches women to put even their most basic needs last. Have a shower. Eat some food. Your baby is FINE.

The hashtag “Not All Men” is trending following the discovery of what is most likely Sarah Everard’s body. Sorry if you think your gender is in danger of receiving some negative tweets. Mine is danger of being raped and murdered.

Ok so sorry if this sounds like a brag but I found out today that I have finally paid off my student loan. That’s 4 years (including PGCE) of the full loan, tuition fees and maintenance grant, plus interest. All paid lads. It feels bloody good.

Year 11 boy: “Miss, when are you going to just let us do independent revision?” Me: “Last lesson you and your friend tied your shoelaces together. So the answer is never. I don’t trust you.”

When people wrongly assume I’ll be saving all my baby’s clothes “for the next one” and I tell them quite happily that I’ve no desire to have another, the look on their faces is always a mixture of surprise and pity. Having only one child is still a thing, right?!

This is almost funny. AQA used the snippy tool on past papers and pasted them into a slightly blurry Word document.

No mate! Because us teachers have children and families and lives of our own, not to mention we’re STILL WORKING! You absolute bell end.
Former Ofsted Chief Inspector Sir Michael Wilshaw says teachers may have to work weekends and evenings to remedy the impact of school closures. He says “if that doesn’t happen, I can see no alternative but to repeat a year” for some pupils. #Newsnight
