    .it was early Jan 2004, matric results just came out with 2As, 2Bs, 2Cs 😭. But I couldn't afford Wits registration fee. So I asked mother for R20 return taxi fare to go hustle in Polokwane with a brown envelope, plan was to just walk into every govt building & ask for help. 🤣

    .the older I got, the more I understand the prestige of working for legacy firms like Sasol & Eskom—loyalty made sense. Their employee benefits were (or still are, I don't know) insane! A widow continues to receive her late husband’s monthly pension payout 25 years later. 🥹♥️🙌🏾

    I rented out a Porsche Boxster for the day. I booked a villa in Camps Bay so I could park this Porsche in a gated yard. I experienced this Porsche from Cape Town to Stellenbosch to Franschoek to Chapman’s Peak to Camps Bay. I lived my wildest dreams in 24 hours 🥺✨
