Pate comes up short, to a very good Midland MI team, 6-3. Levi Thomas had a 2 run blast to keep Pate close. Want to thank everyone who followed along on this unbelievable ride that came up one game short of the Legion World Series. Finished the year 26-5.

Pate beats Midland 3-1 to stay undefeated in the Great Lakes National Regional.Bryce Minton had 2 hits including a 2 run bomb.Clark Gries went the distance with allowing 4 hits. Pate plays tomorrow at 7pm vs Eau Claire WI and is guaranteed to play in the championship Sunday.

Pate wins the opener in the Great Lakes National Regional 1-0 over Owensboro Post 9. Josh Ferguson threw a complete game shutout, allowing just 3 hits. Kaiden Bard had 2 hits and Clark Gries drove in the only Pate run. Pate will now play tomorrow evening around 6:30pm

Pate wins it in the 7th on a Brayden Huebner hit, scoring Jaxon Henke to pull out a 1-0 win.Conner Watson was strong for 4 innings. Luke Kessler went 2.2 solid innings and Bryce Minton came in to get the win getting out of a jam. Pate will play Midland MI tomorrow at 7pm.

Jr Pate wins the Jr Legion State Tournament with a 3-2 win over Terre Haute Wayne Newton. Owen Cato went 5+ innings giving up 2 runs, 0 earned runs. Tanner Gries got the game winning hit to break a 2-2 tie to score Noah Richie. Tanner was also named tournament MVP.

Pate will have a new leader next year. Jesse Simmons and @RyanReynolds will be heading it up. After a magical run, hopefully Legion ball in the area will pick up. It will be the best and most fun of summer baseball you will have ever played.

In the championship game, Pate walked it off in the 7th on a base hit by Levi Thomas. Clark Gries thew a CG scattering 7 hits and allowing just 1 run while striking out 5. Pate will now advance to the National Regional in Carol Stream, IL. Pate stands at 23-3 on the year.

Eugene Pate will have a Sr team next year. Getting plenty of interest, Post 265 super supportive, 30 game schedule, 1 or 2 tournaments, great facility to play and practice at. Hoping to be able to field a Jr team as well. #bringlegionback

Pate comes back to walk it off in the 7th winning 3-2 over Lafayette.Conner Watson went 6 innings striking out 9 and Clark Gries pitched the 7th to get the win.Alec Schwartz had a big 2 out 2 RBI hit in the 6th.Gries added 3 hits and Kaiden Bard 2 hits. Pate plays tomorrow at 5pm
