- π¨ Our union election is officially set for Monday, January 29! Weβre excited to show FiscalNote the overwhelming support among the journalists in our newsroom for stronger job protections and better transparency. Onward to voting!
- Unfortunately, FiscalNote has denied our request for voluntary recognition. While we are disappointed, we are confident we will win an election. - Replying to @CQRollCallGuildWeβre committed to providing vital information to the decision-makers and power brokers who depend on our fact-based and unbiased coverage. Together weβll make both publications better -- for those of us who work here and for our readers.

- Replying to @CQRollCallGuildFiscal Noteβs email says βthe union is a business - it relies on you to make money.β But βthe unionβ isnβt some outside force: itβs us, the reporters, editors and photographers who produce the great journalism CQ and Roll Call is known for!

- Replying to @CQRollCallGuildWeβre so proud β and so ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work!!!
- Replying to @CQRollCallGuildFeature writer @saksappeal has watched so many of his CQ Roll Call coworkers depart and their positions go unfilled. Thatβs why weβre asking @FiscalNote to recognize our union.
- Policy reporter @jessiehellmann and her CQ Roll Call colleagues shouldnβt have to continue doing more with less. Thatβs why weβre asking @FiscalNote to voluntarily recognize our union.
