Don’t care what ranking or rating anyone (including me) puts next to your name at any stage of your hoop career. You and you alone define your success. External factors are not in your control, both positive and negative.

- Players/Recruits: When you’re on the phone with coaches during this down time, pay attention to how they describe your game. How many details on what you bring to the table do they know. Are they recruiting your game or your reputation? #ELITEisEARNED
- Body language is as important as verbal communication when it comes to the impact a player has on the team's energy. It starts before the game, for bench players, how you sit impacts those on the floor and off. You can either give energy or take it. There's no 3rd option.

- Alaska kids have the toughest hand dealt in recruiting. No D1’s in state. Limited D2 opportunities. No adjacent state for playing w/ teams w/ bigger followings. Few coaches making winter trips up to watch kids. This is why we do camp there, build awareness b4 the viewing period.
- BIG NEWS ELITE 25 Wing @Sammie2023 is graduating HS early and enrolling at @OregonWBB in early January. This move allows Wagner a chance to get a masters degree, acclimate to college basketball, travel with the team and get an extra six months of competing against college comp.
- Some food for thought. WBB 22-23 Season - BY THE NUMBERS Before rushing the portal understand what a freshman year is nationally and what jump is ahead if you can just make it to year two! Data to help some folks trust the process. #ELITEisEARNED
- WBB recruiting is about to turn into Love Is Blind (@netflix). First date wont' come until after the engagement!
- If you don’t challenge yourself against someone better than you, how can you accurately identify your weaknesses? Against lesser competition you might think a weakness is actually a strength. Seek out competition whenever you can!
- It's visit season. Go not only where you're wanted but where you're needed and valued. The glitz of the visit will fade, do real reflection on the locker room and where you can see yourself actually grow through adversity and the gauntlet that is being a college athlete.
- Lots of opinions on kids going to school early. Happy to see @chloe1kitts jumping in and being ready to compete for @dawnstaley on day 1. Run your own race! #ELITEisEARNED 📸 @LugardoTony
