    Just a gentle reminder - if the precedents set in #Roe & #Casey are indeed overtured, there will be lots of vulnerable women and children. Christian - we MUST be standing on the frontlines of caring for women & children. We must work to make abortion unthinkable & unnecessary.

    The #BornAliveAct fails to receive cloture. 53-44 It is reprehensible that the U.S. Senate failed to protect the lives of born-alive abortion survivors. Living, breathing little babies who deserve medial care and full legal protection.

    A few months ago, I asked for pray for my pregnant sister whose water broke at 22 weeks. I’m please to let you know that her baby girl was born today!! Baby and mom are doing well!!

    At the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center banquet tonight and three protesters interrupted the executive director while she was speaking. They were sitting at a table with a mother & her baby. The same mother who, just a few minutes later, got up on stage & bravely shared her story.

    Christians - pay attention!! We all should hold those running for the highest office in the land accountable for using incredibly dehumanizing language about migrants. Migrants are made in God’s image and have innate dignity, worth and value.

    A woman’s highest calling is not to be a wife and mother. While those are good, God-designed roles, they weren’t ever meant to be a woman’s highest or truest calling. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment are a woman (and man's) highest calling.

    I’m grateful for today and I’m hopeful that soon, our laws will protect our most vulnerable. But y’all - we’ve GOT to be ready to stand in the gap. We must holistically care for women, with kindness, love and compassion. We must care for the precious little ones in the womb.

    Friends - would you join me in praying for an American Afghan family trying to flee Kabul with their adopted children. One of the children's adoption was approved, and the other’s petition was filed and under review when things fell apart in Afghanistan.
