    Scottish boxing legend Ken Buchanan MBE was laid to rest earlier today after hundreds of mourners lined the streets for a memorial procession through his home city of Edinburgh. The former undisputed World Lightweight champion passed away earlier this month at the age of 77.

    Boxing Scotland is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Scottish great Ken Buchanan MBE. The Edinburgh boxer is arguably the greatest professional boxer to come from our country, as well as being an accomplished amatuer who won Bronze at the European Championships in 1965.
