    We're so proud to announce that Professor Sir Roger Penrose OM has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics for his work carried out at Birkbeck in the 1960s, which demonstrated that black holes were an inevitable consequence of Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. 😮
