    Jay Monahan is a true moron, in every sense of the word. Failed to be proactive from the jump a couple years ago, got maneuvered into a corner (seemingly), and now comes out on a victory tour of sorts (lol). He thinks we’re all idiots. He needs to resign yesterday. @PGATOUR

    Think I’m done with public golf for the time being. 5.5 hour round yesterday. Guys with their shirts untucked. I just can’t fake like I enjoy this anymore. The game needs to be shrunk. Anyone in the Denver area with a membership, please hit me up and invite me out.

    Love DJ’s energy and game early. Totally relatable. Crappy wedge into 1 due to lack of warmup, terrible lag putt because I didn’t roll any on the practice green, but escape #1 with a comfy 5. Then a horrendous drive off #2 still trying to find a feel. Let the game come to you!

    A lot of you know I’ve been pretty down on public golf the last couple years (too many people playing, untucked shirts, etc) but having spent the last few weeks playing heaps on public tracks (Old Course, Carnoustie, Bandon) I am big enough to admit I do see redeeming qualities.

    ZJ’s captain’s picks went 4-12-4 on the week. More disqualifying, imo, is the lack of literally one interesting thing he said all week. If you’re going to get boat-raced at least be entertaining. This was a dull failure, the worst kind.

    I’m no PR expert but I find it quite strange Big Jay isn’t in Canada alongside his players to answer questions about his tour. He makes a lot of money to be invisible during the most consequential days in the tour’s recent history.
