You see, ehn, this life is funny. I lived next door to this fine guy for a couple of years, but make I no lie, I didn’t even send him like that. He was just one of those fine boys you see once in a while when you’re rushing out with a scarf on your head and no cream on your legs

- On a random day at work, I got a text from my mum saying “Someone will follow you on Instagram, follow him back and reply to his DM because I know you” (I have a bad habit of not responding to DMs if I don’t know the person 🤭).
- Chiby and I attended the same secondary school. He joined the school in SS3 and I was in SS1. We used to say hi to each other but never really had any serious conversations until one day after school, he came to talk to me.
- We met at a church youth program and became husband and wife on the 28th of April 1973. We have been married for 50 years now and have had no third party but the Holy Spirit.
- I met my wife on June 4th, 2023. Funny enough, a two years before that, my dad (who happens to be a friend of her dad) had collected her number from her parents and sent it to me. But as very proud “fine boy” that I was, I brushed it off.
- We were introduced by a mutual friend who thought we would make a good match. Now, we get to spend the rest of our lives together. 😍
- Our mums set us up! I met David for 5 minutes at his family event in Nigeria on February 9th 2019. It was love at first sight. He had only been to Nigeria once before, when he was a baby.
- We met in September 2013 which was my first year and his third year in University. I thought he was a really cool and reserved guy, very tall too (lol).

- Helen and I met on Instagram. Sometime around late November of 2021, I was on the app and my hands unintentionally tapped on the explore button. That’s where I saw her picture on the top left corner of my phone. Her beauty and composure literarily said to me “Come here” 😂.
- Adebola: We met on Twitter and got casually talking. We decided to meet up and we found a day that worked for both of us. Then Olakunbi called and said, “I know we planned to meet today but I have a consultation today.
- I met Dipo 10 years ago at the university through a mutual friend. We met in front of the BBS building and I was putting on a black and pink jalamia while he wore a cream jalamia. We immediately cliked (as friends) and that’s all I saw him as and I had no idea he wanted more.
- It was the 12th of April, a warm evening in Lagos. I had just finished my salsa lessons at a local bar, my hair messy and my face flushed from the energetic dancing. As I stepped outside to catch my breath, I saw a group of people playing pool and laughing.
- Our story began on a serene evening in the month of October 2024 (27th October 2024 precisely), at a worship event organised by mutual friends of ours – Nicole and Ifeanyi Kalu. I was there to support them because I happened to be in Lagos at the time as God would have it.
