Have a friend like this. Parents worth closer to 20M. They live alone in giant house in fla, angry at the world most of the time. Kids are responsible & work hard, not rich. Truly strange phenomenon. Don't have a father so hard to relate, but seems weird to not level up your kids
We broke every possible social contract for young people, unprecedented wealth transfer from young to old, devalued the currency, made home prices insane, education debt crazy and now for the lulz we're automating all the entry level white collar work. Just incredible
The problem with Subway hiking prices is Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, Firehouse all present a higher quality product. So what Subway had going for it was the price point: hey, it's food, and won't break the bank. You can't be Walmart and charge Target prices and get away with it
