    Another wake-up call for NBA front offices. Stop discounting quality 4 year guys who have been coached by great coaches at a high level and are more mature to be ready to be professionals from DAY 1 than most teenage prospects

    Interesting note about Monday's NCAA title game: both teams (Virginia & Texas Tech) have a combined 1 McDonald's AA Game selection (Kyle Guy). Shows that talent alone doesn't win championships. Defense, toughness, winning attitude & other intangibles matter too

    With only 2 live team AAU periods this year. What will matter for players is NOT what the name of the team or circuit you play for. What's most important is what coach/director your playing for! Do they have strong college relationships? Are they good at marketing their dudes?

    This Emoni Bates news is beyond sad. It's heartbreaking. What's also problematic here is all the adults & corporate entities like @espn's Paul Biancardi & Adam Finklestein who helped create an ecosystem of entitlement around the kid & gave him a false sense of NBA future glory

    Jaime Jaquez could have transferred to any HS powerhouse in SoCal but stayed @ his local HS (Camarillo) where he got the lion's share of minutes, shots & chance to develop the mindset of a leader & alpha male. That decision did not interfere with his path to NBA @latsondheimer
