    We must do all we can to protect our oceans. Full of wonderful wildlife, these healthy ecosystems help support our planet. The ocean is home to up to 80% of all life on earth, produces 50-80% of the oxygen on earth and absorbs 4 times the amount of CO2 as the Amazon Rainforest.

    Killing an animal simply for being "an inconvenience" is extreme and disgusting behavior. Taking a life isn't the solution to a problem called "human recklessness". We condemn this decision of the Norwegian authorities and express deep sadness for the loss of Freya.

    All plastic in the oceans is harmful to marine life, but one type of plastic pollution is especially deadly - Fishing gear. Why is it more deadly? Fishing gear is designed to catch and kill marine life, and it continues to do that even when it is abandoned or lost at sea.
