We are excited for this historic institution to survive! A lot is still unsettled and we will continue to support our members who are fighting to be paid back from the Block’s illegal behavior. That liability does not go away with the sale of the paper.

As a result, I do not know whether we will be able to publish the needle. There are good reasons to bet against it, though perhaps there are scenarios where things are running super smoothly; alternately, we hit bugs at the start and there's no chance.

Don’t be scab. Don’t work at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette while workers are striking to compel the company to follow federal law and provide affordable health insurance. Crossing a picket line actively hurts journalists and other media workers.
