- It was a summer night in 2006, and a gentleman approached the offices of the @DurhamBulls and asked at the front desk if you could buy a ticket for that night's game. Yes, Hank Aaron was in Durham and was going to buy an $8 ticket.
- Beyond the on-base streak, the #Rays Wander Franco now has struck out ONCE in his last 59 plate appearances, 3 in his last 100. That's 3 strikeouts in 4 weeks, as a 20-year-old.
- Dave was the big brother I didn't have growing up. Larger than life and a great friend. It's hard to believe yesterday we were all together in the booth. It doesn't seem real. We are stunned and heartbroken. All of our thoughts are with Liz, Michelle and Alex.Yesterday was like every other day for the last 18 years. Sharing. Laughs. Baseball. Fun. No way to know it was the last time. Sadness beyond words today. It always felt like we were actual brothers. Will miss him forever. Love to him and his family.
