- Yesterday, our Neighborhood Safety Team apprehended an individual and recovered this loaded illegal stolen firearm. This is the good work your officers are doing for the residents of Bed-Stuy each and every day. Great job, officers!
- Commercial vans 🚐 and trucks 🚛 are integral to the success of small businesses. Please take the time to ensure your vehicles are secured with padlocks 🔐 and other security measures to keep your company’s products or materials from ending up in the possession of thieves!
- Early this morning our Field Intelligence Team, Neighborhood Safety Team, Q-Team, and patrol officers worked together to apprehend two individuals in possession of these loaded illegal firearms. This is work that your officers are doing in Bed-Stuy every day. Great job!
- On Thursday, our patrol officers and Quality of Life Team responded to a 911 call for a shooting that had recently occurred and apprehended an individual carrying this loaded illegal firearm with an extended magazine. Great work!

- NYPD Liaison Rabbi Yidel Leichtenstein and Rabbi Joel Friedman took some time to educate our officers about the Shavuot holiday which starts tonight. With a better understanding of the holiday, our officers will be out tonight ensuring everyone can safely celebrate without worry.
- Our partners in @NYPDTransit Transit District 33 observed an individual enter a subway station in Bed-Stuy without paying their fare, arrested him and discovered he was in possession of an illegal loaded firearm. Great work!
- ⚠️SCAM ALERT⚠️ Scammers are out on the prowl preying on the elderly wearing expensive jewelry. These people strike up conversation and pretend to offer gifts while simultaneously stealing necklaces, watches, and other items. If you’ve been a victim, call 911 to file a report.
