    Shocked, and devastated. Leading #Baloch activist, and my friend #KarimaBaloch found dead in #Toronto today. She went missing yesterday (#Sunday, the 20th of #Dec). Karima was #fierce, #compassionate, and #wise. Here’s her innocent but thoughtful face in my living room this Oct.

    My Opinion: Canada must thoroughly investigate the mysterious death of leading #Baloch activist #KarimaBaloch in #Toronto this week. Do to ignore the threats she faced. Any negligence in doing so, will reflect on Canadian values of #justice and #equality. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…

    I received these photos of obscene #graffiti in different locations targeting a courageous Irish journalist @trishdevlin. Patricia, whom I’m in touch with, is being singled out for reporting the same story as many other outlets. We need protection for Patricia now!

    This past week, since #KarimaBakoch’s mysterious death in #Toronto, I have received inundated messages from #Baloch students, youth and activists living abroad who reveal they have been receiving threats even while living overseas in exile. Some fear for their life.

    #KarimaBaloch was killed 2 months after I took this image. Violence she fought against has only escalated. 1000sof #Baloch abducted, often their mutilated bodies thrown after months & years. @IFazilaBaloch @MahrangBaloch_ protest in 1000s of miles to no justice. Who’s listening?

    Murder in #Pakistan! Shaheena Baloch, Journalist w #PTV #Bolan was brutally murdered on the streets of #turbat in #Balochistan. The @CFWIJ is investigating what is behind this horrific killing. Whether it’s honour killing or the state; a woman has been silenced for doing her job.

    Sincerely appalled by the lack of media coverage of the long March by the pushtoons/tribals in Pakistan. About two kilometers from most TV channel headquarters, thousands of tribal are in a peaceful sit-in and this somehow does not cut for the news? #PashtunLongMarch

    Grave violations are being carried out by #Pakistani military on armless #civilian, days before #Islamic holidays of #EidulAdha. This video shows a #pushtoon civilian shot down to bleed by #army. Bullet fires continue as people in the area trying to approach the body to help!
