I bought two copies of @kittypurrzog's new book from Amazon. One was the actual book (THIS, below) is the correct version. But the second of what should have been two identical copies was the monstrosity pictured in tweet 2 of this thread.
Publishing a book is a strange experience. You spend all this time working on it, there’s a year of anticipation, then it finally comes out, there’s a surge of interview requests (if you’re lucky), and then… nothing. Life goes back to normal. It’s just like having a baby.
