MOVING!!!

That's right! After almost fourteen years on LiveJournal, X-Project has decided its time to move. This isn't a choice that comes easy; however, following LiveJournal's latest update to its Terms of Services, the players of this fine game have decided they're no longer comfortable staying with LJ.nBut never fear! We've already found a new home on Dreamwidth, and will be resuming our gameplay there. Same great game, new great platform.

Due to this impending move, X-Project will be Closed beginning Monday, April 10, until Thursday, April 13. What does this mean? There will be no new logs or any other kind of posts, in order to ensure that when the move is completed, nothing is left behind. We will resume game play on 4/13 over on our new Dreamwidth comms. Hope to see you there!

Mar 20 - Angelo visits Angel with food and a suggestion for her paper. Hope emails Sue with a write up she did of her dad’s company. Sooraya asks for help with a college assignment. Clarice posts about certain colors not looking well. Logan texts Kyle to congratulate him with his birthday. Molly gives Kyle a gift. Kyle texts Molly to thank her.

Mar 21 - Marie-Ange gives Hope a quick lesson in pharmacology and mixology, and then sets her on some homework.

Mar 13 - Angel posts to the journals asking if someone would bring her ice cream while in the medlab without telling the doctors, the doctors reply.

Mar 14 - Jubilee posts up her to do list which leads to questions about why she raids other people’s fridges. Gabriel informs the mansion that red wine and hot chocolate was a thing now that people did.

Mar 16 - Doug hosts a Lucha Underground Netflix party at his house and wonders why Kyle isn’t already there. Amanda, Kurt and Meggan spend some time catching up with one another while trapped at the mansion due to a snow day. Matt posts to the journals asking for an assistant, Meggan and Megan both express and interest. Megan starts thinking about what she wants to do in the future, and realises she doesn’t want to make fashion a career.

Mar 17 - Jubilee muses about easy listening station on the mansion loan cars as Warren and Alison comment no how much they like Air Supply. Maya wonders about what kind of part time job she could get that would still leave her time for cheerleading and school. Cata brings Clea a present of a little green living army man, she and Topaz both hope Amanda is too drunk to notice they’re still running around. Sharon and Jean bond over a hallucinating man who thinks he’s a leprechaun at work. Jean follows up with a complaint about how he slimed her after Sharon had left and the two decide to go for beers after work. Jean texts Laurie to invite her along to medical get drunk night. Jenny posts to the journals bemoaning St Patrick’s Day.

Mar 18 - The day after her retreat to the Irish bar Jenny posts to the journals questing why there isn’t a service that delivers pairs of shoes to pubs when you need them.

Mar 19 - Kitty wonders about her plans for Patrick’s day but decides to go to the New York City Drone Film Festival instead.

Mar 5 - Sue and Hope attend a gala event together. X-Men Mission: A vs X: Fred Duncan contacts Garrison to let him know that the Avengers have been brainwashed somehow and are targeting SHIELD and that the X-Men are needed to prevent a bloodbath; Garrison emails Marie-Ange and Amanda for magic-type help investigating the cause of the situation in the Mid-West; in Washington, the site of the Triskelion building, Dominion and Rogue encounter the Hulk; Wolverine and Cyclops face Captain America and Black Widow; Bevatron and Dust counter Hawkeye and Deathlok on the roof; Synch and Marvel Girl take on two of the fliers, Falcon and Vision; the Sub-mariner and Firestar get the other two fliers, Iron Man and War Machine; Blink and Bruiser find themselves facing an insane ‘god’ in the form of Thor and Blink teleports him away; in Minnestoa, the SWORD team and its consultants, Tarot, Daytripper, Dagger and Topaz, land at the site of the Asgardian portal the Avengers had been investigating; Dominion jumps in to help Wolverine against Captain America and Black Widow as Cyclops is forced to switch teams and manages to take down Captain America before Widow knocks him out with her sting; Marvel Girl takes Dominion’s place against the Hulk and they manage to hold him to a standstill, but that’s all; Dust moves to assist Synch against Falcon and the Vision and together they defeat the Falcon and while Synch takes him for medical aid, Dust faces the Vision; Hawkeye critically injures Firestar, so while Blink takes her back to the Blackbird for medical treatment, Cyclops steps in the help the Sub-mariner against the Iron-Men and manage to subdue War Machine; Sharon treats Firestar while Longshot provides protection against Hawkeye and buys some breathing room; Thor returns from wherever Blink sent him to and attacks Bruiser and Bevetron; Sharon has another patient - War Machine - but with Iron Man trying to kill them, joins Longshot in fighting him off; Rogue defends Dominion from Black Widow despite being in bad shape after the Hulk; Wolverine takes Rogue’s place against the Hulk and between him and Marvel Girl, they manage to wear him down enough for a mind-whammy; Dust finds herself fighting the Vision alone and manages to distract him from his rampage; the Sub-mariner switches places with Bruiser against Thor and the sniping between the two myths gives Bevetron a chance to catch his breath; Synch joins Blink against Deathlok and Hawkeye and things get brutal before Blink teleports them away; in Minnesota, SWORD and the magic team discover the portal is just an illusion and set off a second booby trap - an ice giant - which they go all-out in battling before disrupting the norn stones maintaining the brainwashing spell; Cyclops and Bruiser are battling Iron Man when the spell is broken and all of the Avengers stand down; the X-Men quietly leave the scene while SHIELD treats the Avengers.

Mar 6 - Gabriel announces his return. Everett asks for a ‘loan’ of a healing factor to deal with the injuries incurred during the Avengers battle. Topaz helps Amanda deal with the return of her emotions - and her addiction issues - after draining them during the battle with the ice giant.

Mar 8 - Gabriel emails the X-Force crew, confused about his goldfish’s new, expensive home.

Mar 9 - Amanda is confused about the TV series Topaz had on while she was recovering. Doug is gleeful about the name of one of the characters in the latest Fast and the Furious movie matching his codename.

Mar 10 - Laurie reflects she needs to sleep less as she missed everything that happened in the last week. Jubilee texts Amanda to make sure she’s okay. Amanda gives Topaz a second-hand car for her birthday and Topaz is boggled. Angelo is glad about the death of Joseph Nicolosi who pioneered gay conversion therapy.

Mar 11 - Kevin and Artie have drinks and conversation as a form of training. Maya is bitter about the Salem Center Women’s March being delayed and possibly cancelled in the aftermath of the Avengers battle. Topaz talks to Kurt about Amanda’s history. Amanda announces another “Magic 101” class, including the “Don’t Touch The Thing” section.

Mar 12 - Emma reflects on updates in gene therapy. After the magic class, Ty has some questions for Amanda about his powers and his time in Asgard. Angel posts from medlab, asking for ice-cream.

Feb 20 - Nica shares an Epic Rap Battle between Frederick Douglass and Thomas Jefferson. Warren thanks Darcy for his birthday cookies and suggests a movie night with Jubilee. Warren announces on the journals that he forgot his birthday and declares it his Birthday Week instead. Hope asks Sue and Doug for help on a research project for X-Factor. Honey, I Shrunk the Magic Class: When Billy pops into Amanda’s shrinking objects class, spells go haywire and the six magic users find themselves shrunk down to the size of bugs and battling Topaz’s animated Army men; sucked up into the vacuum cleaner, the group escapes the trash can and heads for the kitchen; Rogue wonders where Amanda has gotten to, having made plans to meet; in the kitchen, Megan tries to get Namor’s attention and is nearly squashed for her trouble, and the group realises they have to solve their own problems; Fourteen wonders at a sudden burst of “oh crap” thoughts and asks for aspirin; Billy and Stephen risk life and limb crossing the halls during dinner rush; Tabitha is Done with animated objects when she encounters Topaz’s Army figures; Tandy also has noticed the missing magic class and the animated Army men; Topaz and Clea find themselves fleeing from Rooney the Cat; Marie-Ange alerts X-Force and the X-Men to Amanda’s absence and asks for a security sweep of the mansion.

Honey, I Shrunk the Magic Class: Xavin wonders at Topaz not being in the library; Amanda and Megan encounter the challenge that is Amanda’s bedroom floor; the group scale Amanda’s bookcase to the wych she keeps there and use it to repower themselves and then reverse the shrinking spell; Amanda apologises on the journals for frightening people; Tandy is ‘relieved’ to see people notice if she’s not in the library.

Feb 13 - Alison is perturbed to find Midnight, Topaz’ black cat, in her room. Meggan lets Topaz know she’s captured two of the animated catnip mice. Gabriel has a session with Charles and they talk about the difficulty of moving on from tragedy.

Feb 14 - Sooraya asks Jean-Phillipe for help with a newly manifested electrokinetic she met via the Mutant Underground. Amanda provides a romance-free zone in her suite for Valentine’s Day refugees.

Feb 15 - Fourteen thanks Warren for his ‘donation’. Fourteen emails Jubilee to ask her to meet about something they need to confess to her. Clarice wonders if anyone else is obsessed by Halsey. Johnny resurfaces on the journals to talk about the joys of half-price candy after Valentine’s Day.

Feb 16 - Kevin sends Gabriel on a mission as part of his training. Lorna texts Wanda to invite her for a birthday spa day. Clea asks about getting her licence in the States.

Feb 17 - Gabriel emails X-Force to let them know he’ll be away for a time and to ask them to feed the X-Force fish, which confuses everyone, since they didn’t know there was an office fish.

Feb 18 - Molly is excited about a new fashion item - a strap-on dinosaur tail.

Jan 23 - With Extreme Prejudice: CBS reports that the Mayor is holding a meeting with mutant activist leaders to discuss the recent marches and violence. Maya asks if anyone went to the Women’s March in DC or New York. Cecilia makes a journal post announcing she’s back from the protests in DC. Ty text Hope to tell her there are several jewelry boxes waiting for her.

Jan 24 - Hope emails Tandy, Topaz, and Sue for help with her many jewelry boxes. With Extreme Prejudice: Spider-Man and Daredevil stake out a Friends of Humanity weapons deal to learn where these guns are coming from, and it's not good news.

Jan 25 - With Extreme Prejudice: Miles texts Matt about remembering Hanrahan now.

Jan 26 - Maya posts a picture to her journal about why your argument is invalid. Doug posts a picture to his journal about an unlikely trio of freedom fighters.

Jan 27 - With Extreme Prejudice: Daredevil saves Detective Mahoney from a vengeful partner; Meanwhile, Spider-Man tracks down Dan Hanrahan to get some answers, and finally discovers who the serial killer is, which does not end well for Miles.

Jan 20 - Maya decides art museums and dance are the best way to cope with Inauguration Day. With Extreme Prejudice: Daredevil and Spider-Man investigate the apartment of one of the victims and are surprised by a detective, who surprisingly turns out to be an ally; Miles discovers a ninja star at the scene.

With hundreds of people trapped in the building, the X-Men split up into two teams to try to gain access. They face a myriad number of traps and new enemies, but manage to fight their way through and neutralize the threat. Kane announces to the X-Teams that Verde has escaped before dropping off a special delivery to Julian’s room.

Dec 12 - Maya posts to the journals to let people know she’s planning on starting a school radio station. Kyle tries to teach Topaz to fight, Topaz isn’t so sure about this idea but goes along with it. Tandy posts up to remind people they can volunteer at her uncle’s soup kitchen or drop off unwanted clothes at her room.

Dec 13 - Nica suggests a Generation-X outing to volunteer at Tandy’s uncle’s soup kitchen. Bobbi is celebrating that she’s finally paid off her student loans, much to the dismay of all the students looking forward to that time in their lives. Lorna regrets that she can’t migrate to warmer climes. Kane, Scott and Sharon plan a series of medical exercises in the danger room. Doug takes Hope on a graduation exercise to test all the skills he’s been teaching her. Clarice admits that she’s made too many scarves and hats and will be giving them out to anyone who wants one.

Dec 14 - Laurie muses her random thoughts leading to a discussion about the fear of having to tell people that their loved ones have died. Lorna receives a present from Magneto, but Alex suggests blowing it up.
