Hello!
I’m Andrew Towler, and I’ve been building commercial websites and applications since 1999. In 2005 I created the ZigPress brand to promote my services, and since then I have worked with a variety of clients in Europe, America and Asia, helping them transform their business with new or improved websites and applications.
In 2013 a private cloud application I designed and developed won Best B2B Application at the Malta Communication Authority eBusiness awards.
For many years I have specialised in the WordPress platform, building applications that push the boundaries of what WordPress can do. I have also developed many pure PHP/SQL apps and have worked with other platforms including Symfony, Laravel, Grav and Bolt.
I also build solutions with ProcessWire, a fast and extremely flexible platform. ProcessWire is not as well known as WordPress but is a better option in certain scenarios.

You may notice a Maltese bias; I lived in Malta for many years and am an approved supplier to the Government of Malta. I still spend more time working with my Maltese clients than any other group.

Applications
Most of my work involves building and managing private cloud-based applications. These screenshots are pixellated for obvious reasons.
Websites
Creating and supporting unique, hand-coded, accessible and easy to use public websites is a less frequent but no less important part of my workload.
My development process does not include off-the-shelf templates, heavy page builder plugins or any use of AI-generated code, so you can be confident that your ZigPress-developed app or site will be unique, efficiently coded and easy to manage.
