Pre-formed paper cones are loaded into a tray or holder,(Some machines auto-feed the cones; others require manual loading.)

2. Weighing & Dosing Cannabis
Ground cannabis is weighed or volumetrically dosed. (e.g., 0.5g, 1g, etc.).

3. Filling the Cones
Cannabis is dispensed into the cones via vibrating plates, auger feeds, or rotary systems.Vibration or tapping helps settle the evenly during this process.

4. Packing or Tamping
A tamping mechanism lightly compresses the cannabis to eliminate air pockets and ensure a smooth, consistent burn.

5. Twisting or Sealing
After filling, the tops of the joints are either:
Twisted closed (classic look).
Or sealed with a folding/stuffing mechanism for a straight-edge finish.

6. Output & Collection
Finished joints are ejected or dropped into a tray, ready for final packaging.

It can handle 0.5 to 1.5 grams, just like the most popular models on the market. It’s also capable of filling higher weights since the amount can be adjusted by changing the filling time — the longer the fill time, the greater the weight.
