I really like the University of Liverpool. It's a nice environment with friendly and helpful staff and student support and plenty of opportunities if you seek them out. I would argue that student life isn't very commuter friendly though. It's quite a walk from the train station, no lockers and societies often run late into the evening.

It’s been great! If I had to define Westminster in one word it would be balance. I love how I get time academically and socially. Everyone is so open minded and helpful!

I love the uni life, having my own free time and the ability to focus on things such as sports, the gym and being with my friends whilst also maintaining my studies. However, I am struggling with finances, as it has been very difficult to find a job whilst at uni.

Bolton public library is amazing. Easy access to student services, fun events, and the library and campus is great, open after hours. I’ve personally found my course isn’t the most organised, but otherwise I am loving it.

It’s geographically a wonderful campus, really beautiful and green! I find there to be a student support team for just about any need I may have, which is extremely efficient and supportive :) I enjoy the course material a lot and do think it could do with a more diverse staff facility, but the topics are engaging and interesting all the same! I love studying here

There have been difficulties with communication from certain faculties to the students, but there have also been some lecturers who have been extremely supportive who have helped me with both educational and mental issues I have had, especially in the third year.

One of the best aspects of my university experience has been the sense of community and independence that comes with student life. Being at uni gives you the chance to meet people from different backgrounds, join societies, and try new things you might not have done before. It also helps you develop independence, whether that’s managing your time, balancing studying with social life, or learning how to budget and live away from home. The support from lecturers and the opportunities to gain skills outside of lectures, such as networking events or career support, also make it a great place to grow both academically and personally. However, there are also areas that could be improved. One of the more challenging aspects can be the cost of student life, especially with accommodation, food, and general living expenses increasing. It can sometimes feel stressful trying to balance finances alongside studying. In addition, at times communication or organisation within courses could be clearer, as students rely on timely updates about schedules, deadlines, and resources. Improving support around student wellbeing and making sure information is communicated clearly would make the overall university experience even better.

Everyone I have met has been friendly and helpful. There are plenty of societies to join and the student union bar is great for a bit of socialisation on the side. I wish there were more green spaces to sit and quiet areas like the library dotted around. Parking is a bit hit and miss but there's plenty of buses.

I personally think the prices on food in the cafeteria and shops on campus are exaggerated, and the should be put down on some products, besides i think markeaton campus needs a little makeover, it looks good but old now that we got the new cavendish campus, even kedleston looks more modern, other than that, there should also be more and better self study spaces on markeaton, at the moment for self study i go in my regular default classroom at most, we need something like kedleston and cavendish, maybe 2-3 rooms next to the self study area downstairs (towards the road entrance) other than that i really like the campus it’s a calming place to study and work on our stuff, even britannia mill, personally i really like it, it has a special feel to it, doesn’t need any updates or anything it’s perfect, makes me feel like in the 1st year

i love the facilities at this uni, the library and the teaching is great. there are many places for all types of students ,quiet or not, to go and the nightlife in the city is prety decent. it is quite affordable compared to other universitys close by. the societies are fantastic aswell. the university could improve on certain teaching aspects in the first year to ease us into how very independant it all is

I attend UOG Francis Close Hall campus and it's so incredibly inspiring. It's a great oldy-worldy historical site and it was really the deal-breaker for me choosing UOG; although my course mates and I were severely let down when we were told we would have to move to Oxstalls campus in Gloucester... we managed to get the union involved but only managed to get it pushed back a year for us, all new students in September for social science will be in Oxstalls and won't get to experience the beauty of FCH. Such a shame. Despite this, the facilities are amazing, staff are equipped with great knowledge and are all incredibly friendly. All students are friendly and light-minded, it's a great environment to study in and socialise. I commute so I cannot speak on the social side of student accommodation and/or going out, but as a commuter it meets all my needs! I really recommend studying here, the lecturers know what they're talking about, and are amazing at illustrating theories and concepts in ways that make sense.

Beautiful building filled with up to date technology and software. All the staff are great, approachable, helpful, knowledgeable. The activities put on are relevant and interesting. It's a really nice place to be.

The lectures in my course are very helpful and always get back to you when you have questions. We have good weeks timetabling where we have online lessons and in person and we start at a nice time as well which gives people time to travel. Our lectures give us PowerPoints which we can also look at when at home for more revision. The university is big and is a couple bus stops from train stations which is helpful as well. There is lots of places to get food and they have a wide variety of things.

More vegan food on campus would be appreciated but there are options. Changes to the way wellbeing works has made things difficult, for me. Support from PAT has been great but Support from studentzone/wellbeing less so. Easy access location, on a unesco site, which is such a privilege.

Middlesex University is considered a great place to study because it offers modern facilities, strong academic support, and a diverse student community. However, it could be improved by continuing to invest in campus facilities, expanding accommodation options, and increasing opportunities for work placements and industry connections so that students are even better prepared for future careers.
