Representing the Contractors Who Deliver Forest Restoration, Silviculture and Wildfire Resilience
The Western Forestry Contractors’ Association represents the contractors delivering forestry consulting, forest restoration, reforestation, wildfire mitigation, and long-term forest resilience work across Western Canada. The WFCA works with government and partners to strengthen the sector and protect the long-term health of our forests and communities.
The restoration economy includes the workforce, equipment, creativity and services required to rebuild, restore and maintain healthy forests. It spans reforestation, wildfire mitigation, thinning, brushing, nursery production, and ecosystem recovery.
WFCA members do the on-the-ground work to restore forests, reduce wildfire risk, and protect communities.
The work is not optional.
It is foundational to wildfire resilience, environmental stability, timber supply, and rural economic sustainability.
