0Java is a high level language which is far better than procedural languages like C, Fortran and Pascal. Java completely stands with the principles of OOPS (Object Oriented Programming Structure).
The basis advantage of Java is that it is Platform Neutral i.e you can create code with any platform your machine support whether it is Linux,Mac or Windows.You donot have to write code for every platfrom that the machine have.Only you will "Write once and run it many times". Java is Highly Robust and secure.
Java comprises of little bit changes in the syntax and its running stlye. As if you know that how to run a program in C lang i.e simply make a code and press compile your program will compile and if it is ok it will run and finally you will got your result. But that is not the easy stuff in Java. Here you need JVM (Java Virtual Machine) that comprises of JIT compliler which tranfers your sourcecode into bytecode which ultimately passes to interpreter and then reaches to Compiler for running.
Hence it is easy as well as fun to code in Java.
