Lagos State Judiciary with Ministry of Justice recorded the first virtual court session to deliver the judgment of one Olalekan Hameed who was sentenced to death by hanging. The Virtual Court Session which is in line with the COVID -19 pandemic period practice directive.

The matter is being prosecuted by the Directorate of Public Prosecutions and trial ongoing at the High Court. Contrary to the claim, the Defendant has at all material time in these proceedings been represented by a lawyer and has been present in Court,
