  From being greeted and supported through the arrivals process in Egypt, to the being dropped at the airport for my last flight, everything about my Timeless tour was fantastic. I had arrived a day earlier than my tour, and Timeless had organised Soma to be my guide for the additional tours I wanted to do on my extra days. Soma was excellent, knowledgeable, kind, and generous with her time and her information. She introduced me to Egypt in a wonderful way, and we chatted as if we were old friends for most of our 2 days together. As a solo travelling woman, she was a real gift. As the tour proper began we were introduced to Peter, our guide and tour leader. Peter was beyond excellent. Experienced, organised, patient, full of knowledge about his country and its history, and super funny! He made our group feel like a family very quickly, and I feel like I made some new friends for life along the way. The hotels were great, 3-4 star, clean and well appointed. The Nile Cruise was comfortable, with lovely staff. We all bonded over the early starts, especially the Abu Simbel morning, which was totally worth the effort - don't miss it! It was great to have the tips for service organised by Peter, it takes the hassle away (especially for those of us who come from non tipping countries). This is a fast paced tour, though there are moments of rest, and the last days in Hurghada spent on the beach seem well deserved when you get there!Show more

  Our tour was amazing from start to finish. Ramez was a great guide full of ancient knowledge. We learned so much. Alexandria was less interesting than I was expecting. Luckily we started the days early which meant we were first tourists to the main sites, this helped with queuing and crowds. The river cruise was exceptional, spacious rooms and a great buffet. The itinerary was jam packed, so be prepared for early mornings and lots of walking. We opted not to do the optional trips which helped with some needed downtime. You will be brought to local shops and 'factories' to buy souvenirs, but these places were interesting and there's no pressure to buy anything. Overall, I recommend seeing Egypt this way and would recommend Ramez as a guide.Show more

  Cleopatra’s Egypt: Cairo, Alexandria& 5* Nile Cruise! (+additional day in Cairo-Mokatam Hill). December 26, 2025 An unforgettable experience from 3 generations family of 6, in a group of 15 travelers! Our tour guide, Egyptologist Mina Magdy, was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, professional, and personable. He has a vast knowledge of Egyptian history with a beautiful positive energy. He was always extremely communicative and informative. He made it easy to connect with our fellow group members. The group itself was comprised of people from all over the world, who were awesome. We had an amazing time and felt pampered and safe during the entire trip. Mina surprised me on my 70th birthday with a cake, gifts, and a group celebration. I felt so special! The trip itinerary was perfect. We saw as much as we could in 9 days, which included a great mix of activities complimenting themselves perfectly – visiting ancient Egyptian historical sites: Alexandria, GEM, Pyramids/Giza, temples in Luxor and Aswan, Abu Simbel. Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor! Hot air ballooning in Luxor! And finishing the trip with Cave Church and St. Simone Monastery in Cairo. We made a few interesting stops to the papyrus, cottons, perfumes/oils, and alabaster shops, where we learned the manufacturing process and bought amazing gifts for friends and family at home. The accommodations and the food were excellent! It was a trip of a lifetime! I will remember all the people and experiences the rest of my life. Thank you Mina, Thank you Timeless tours!Show more

  This was a terrific tour of some of the major sites in Egypt. Our guide, Ramez, was a qualified Egyptologist who was very knowledgeable, not to say enthusiastic, about his subject. We travelled in the Northern summer and it was quite hot so sun protection and plenty of water were essential. At other times of the year it might be more comfortable from that point of view. The accomodation was excellent, particularly on the Nile Cruise. Our trip from Luxor back to Cairo/Giza was by overnight train and let's just say Egypt Rail has quite a lot of work to do in this department. We would suggest flying where possible.Show more

  Sites, excursions were great. Tour guide was fabulously terrific! Vans were great, train was 2 star rating and 'highly' unreliable! It took 11 hours for an 8 hour trip from Luxor to Cairo. Due to the delay i was unable to enjoy any time at the museum. Pressed for time to get to airport.Show more

  This trip was exceptional! From the moment I arrived at the airport, a representative from Timeless Tours was there to ensure a smooth transition. The resort we stayed at in Cairo was close to the Pyramids and offered a lot of great amenities. I especially like the shops and nearby bank that made exchanging currency easy and convenient. Our guide Mina was AMAZING! He was very detailed and knowledgeable in explaining details about every place we visited. He was gracious enough to share additional details so I could update my daily travel blogs too! The Train from Cairo to Aswan was not great. The train is not new and the bathrooms were filthy from the time the train left Cairo. The wash basin cabinet door in our car was broken and would not close and banged against the wall all evening. The train horn blasted most of the evening too. I highly, highly recommend upgrading to stay another night in Cairo and fly down to Aswan. It will be worth it to get quality sleep and avoid a potentially unpleasant train experience. Other than the train, the entire trip was amazing! I would absolutely do this in a heartbeat. If you are considering a tour of Egypt that will show you a lot of everything throughout the country, this is the trip for you!!!Show more

  What a wonderful tour. Timeless Tours you did everything you promised. As a lady traveling alone, I was a bit nervous but I was met (even though it was 3.30am) even before going through passport control. We were in a private minibus super fast. The hotel was lovely, set in beautiful gardens, with a big pool. Very good food and super helpful staff. Travel was in modern air-conditioned mini buses and friendly drivers. Remy and Meena were my guides but it was Meena that travelled with me for the most part. He was incredible, very knowledgeable, patient and lots of fun. His attention to detail and making sure the group (only 2 of us) were enjoying all the wonderful experiences Egypt has to offer. I have to say that his personality and kindness was outstanding. The Nile cruise was a dream come true, as were the Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. If there was any bad part of the whole trip, it was the train. I knew it would be quite basic but was not quite prepared for how dirty it was. The state of the toilets was terrible but in saying that…obviously you don’t have any control over that, except not putting the train on your trip. All in all, I had a wonderful time..a great experience. Thank you.Show more
