Where are you based? ? I live in a village on the Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire border, about 10 miles north of Peterborough. I work from home and have a dedicated consulting room for those who choose to see me in person, but I am more than happy to coach you online via Zoom, so location really isn’t an issue.
What do you love about The Thrive Programme? It’s so simple and predictable! If you follow the programme and put in the work, you will make big changes in only six weeks and be loving life again.
I know because not only am I Coach, I saw my then 20-something daughter overcome, in just a few weeks, low self-esteem, social anxiety and depression which had plagued her life for over 10 years; she is now a thriving independent woman. Not only that, but I also then went through the programme myself and removed years of work-related anxiety and imposter syndrome which had impacted much of my working life.
Both of us had struggled for so many years and tried so many other forms of therapy – this is the first one that made the difference. As a mother I wish we both had these tools and skills earlier, so she could have made more of her teenage and early adult life.
This is my chance to give something back and teach others to resolve their mental and emotional health issues, take control of their thinking and love their life again. I don’t want anyone else to waste years of their life not knowing that there are tools and skills they can be using to overcome any challenges which are impacting their lives and happiness.
What did you do before you became a Coach? I had a very corporate background in marketing, PR and latterly employee communications, focusing on helping people move through change during company transformations. Along the way I have studied NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and trained as a solution -focussed hypnotherapist.
What do you do when you're not working? I have become a keen gardener. I love being outside and have created a tranquil and beautiful area for me to relax in with friends and family, and I’m now moving on from flowers to vegetables. Inside the house I am a keen amateur interior designer – always looking for an opportunity to introduce a look!
I am keen to be fit and healthy so get to the gym as much as possible and run, very short distances, when I can. My favourite weekly commitment is spending the day looking after my adorable but active grandson. There are also four ‘grand dogs’ in my family who regular stay over or enjoy a walk along the river whenever I’m needed to help my adult children.
An interesting fact? I’ve walked the Sahara Desert. Not all of it, but certainly enough for it to be a challenge!
What languages do you speak? English.
Do you see clients online or face-to-face? Both.
What time-zone are you in? I am based in the UK so am in the GMT time zone (BST in summer months).
What are your working hours? Flexible.
