Hi, my name is...
Mark Tindale

Meet Mark...

Where are you based? I live in Wicklow in Ireland, an hour South of Dublin. My coaching is predominantly on Zoom as most of my clients are not from this area. I can however arrange to meet you in Dublin for an introductory session.

What do you love about The Thrive Programme? It has to be the fact that Thrive is so practical and gives clients straightforward, simple and very effective strategies to transform their lives.

I came to Thrive as a client after a particularly challenging period in my life; I had no real interest in trawling back through what had happened, I needed help to reset and move forward. I did not, however, anticipate the full and empowering impact Thrive would have on all aspects of my life.

What did you do before you became a Coach? I am still working in leadership in education and have done for over 25 years. For the last 15 years I have been writing and implementing well-being curriculums for children. Over time I have increasingly been working with parents and of course one-to-one Thrive Programme Coach®ing with adults.

I have also volunteered with several charities both in the UK and Ireland, including working on helplines with the NSPCC and most recently as a mentor with the ISPCC. Simply put, a vocational career doing my best to support and help people learn more about themselves.

What do you do when you're not working? When I am not working or spending time with my family I spend as much time as I can outdoors. I live in a beautiful part of the world with beaches and mountains on my doorstep and love to surf, swim, paddle board and run and walk in the mountains and woodlands. I have travelled extensively and continue to do so whenever possible. Indian food is also a firm favourite.

An interesting fact? I spent over 40 years wondering what all the fuss was about with dog owners and really showing little or no interest in people’s pets. Four years ago we finally relented to our children’s request to get a dog, now I simply cannot understand when people show no interest in our dog, or look bored when we talk about him!! I am now a fully transformed and unapologetic lover of all things to with dogs…

What languages do you speak? English.

Anything else? I have always thrown myself at life and sought opportunities for friendship, travel, adventure and the many great experiences I have had with my family. However, what we cannot control is what life throws at us, and this is really where we learn the most about ourselves. Thrive has taught me to turn challenges into opportunities and enriched all aspects of how I live my life.

What hours do you work? I can be flexible but most meetings will be Monday-Friday.
