Where are you based? My main office is located just outside Ballymena but I also offer appointments in Coleraine.
What do you love about The Thrive Programme? I love how quick, easy and predictable the Thrive programme is. It is quite simply the best programme that I've come across in my 10 years of working with hundreds of people. I love seeing the energy, smiles and confidence from people who only weeks earlier were really struggling and seeing the massive positive impact it has in the rest of their lives.
What did you do before you became a Coach? I worked as an economist for 12 years after leaving university. I then realised that my real passion in life is helping people and since 2008 I have been working as a counsellor. In 2017 a friend of mine recommended the Thrive programme and it made such a huge difference to my life that I've now re-trained as a Thrive Programme Coach® so that I can teach others how to Thrive.
What do you do when you're not working? Anyone who knows me knows that I love my holidays and getting a few days away in the sun as often as possible. Food is a close second and definitely the way to my heart. I love all types of sport especially soccer and rugby and last year took up swimming. Despite years of slagging off friends and anyone else who dared wear lycra I've recently joined the local cycling club and discovered I really like it (the cycling and the lycra!).
An interesting fact? I find laughter really helpful. I have a bit of a dark sense of humour so please warn me if you're easily offended.
Anything else? I'm a member of a range of groups promoting better mental health in our local communities.
What year were you born? 1978.
What languages do you speak? English.
What time zone are you in? UK (GMT/BST).
