New Milestone
Today (04/06/2026) feels extra special. DeafMed hit 10,000 followers on Facebook at the same time I’m reflecting on 10 years since I first started dreaming and planning this journey. I made it official in August 2016, but the vision started long before that.
From uncertainty to purpose, from small steps to big milestones… this means everything.
I’m so grateful for this community for your support, your belief in DeafMed, and your belief in me 🤍
And to my friends and family, thank you for standing by me through every high and low.
We’ve come a long way, and I can’t wait to see what the next 5 years brings ✨

My Story
I’m incredibly honored to share my journey as a Deaf nurse. ZVRS came to Ohio and filmed me at my workplace, giving me the chance to share my story with the world. Thank you to the amazing ZVRS team for creating this moment, and thank you to OhioHealth for welcoming them into my facility and supporting accessibility in healthcare.
