Each shelter includes a secure door for privacy and safety and folds into a portable bag, making it easy for recipients to carry it wherever they need to go.

Throughout the shelter building activity, each team also completes a series of challenges that earn them items to pack a care kit with essential hygiene supplies, personal safety items, and everyday necessities that can be hard to access during challenging times. Every kit includes a handwritten note of encouragement and a QR code that connects recipients to nationwide resources for shelter, food, medical care, and recovery support.
