I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Washington's iSchool. Through my research I seek to help scholars and the public understand how well digital platforms are supporting users in navigating online information. I tend to apply novel statistical techniques to large-scale data, and am broadly interested in the effects that digital platforms have on our selves and our behavior. My recent research focuses on crowdsourced content moderation systems, like X's Community Notes.
I am advised by Martin Saveski, and previously received my BA in Statistics from Northwestern University. My work has appeared at PNAS, NAACL, and FAccT, among other venues. I am looking to go into industry once I graduate in 2027 or 2028. Outside of research, I like to train my dog, drink boba with my fiancé, and hang with friends and family.
