For 300 years, the Slater family has farmed along Goose Creek in Virginia, mostly growing cereal crops and beef cattle. In 2010, we added grapevines to that farming tradition.
Our Tasting Room features sweeping views of Hunt Country in a bright and airy setting. Guests can enjoy a guided wine tasting or tableside wine flights that showcase our estate and Virginia grown wines. We offer a curated food menu featuring locally sourced cheese, charcuterie, and a variety of seasonal snacks.
We are open Thursday through Monday, and we look forward to welcoming you for a relaxed wine experience soon.

We regularly host curated events at the winery, and you can also find our Slater Run Wine Wagon out in the community, bringing our wines to local events and gatherings.

Slater Run offers a full lineup of award-winning wines, including white, amber, rosé, sparkling, and red wines. You can purchase our wines by picking them up directly in our Tasting Room or have them conveniently shipped to over 40 states across the country.
