A cozy kitchen on the prairie, run by TV chef and New York Times bestselling author, Erin Jeanne McDowell, and her fairy friends. She and the other Prairie Fairies use magic, creativity and food chemistry to bake spectacular pies for their woodland friends!
But just like baking in real life, something always goes wrong. When it does, the fairies shrink themselves down to journey inside the pie and save the day! A smidge of The Magic School Bus with a dash of Tiny Chef and a dollop of The French Chef.
Co-Creator Erin Jeanne McDowell is a New York Times bestselling author whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Food Network, Bon Appetit, Food52, and more. She hosts the award-winning series Bake it Up a Notch on Food52, and was a coach on Netflix’s The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge and Nickelodeon’s School of Yum on Noggin.
“Erin Jeanne McDowell [is] the baking version of a fairy godmother. Only, instead of transforming mice and pumpkins into a horse and carriage, [she can] revamp humble banana bread into a triple-decker caramel-coated layer cake.” - Bake From Scratch Magazine

A Boy Named Paul
AGES 10-14, 8X30
ANIMATED SERIES
EARLY DEVELOPMENT
A 10-foot-tall teen navigates his small town’s expectations with the help of his bookish father, in this coming-of-age retelling of Paul Bunyan.
As Paul grows, he becomes larger than an adult, but with the emotional tools of a child. A nuanced and comedic exploration of masculinity, like Ted Lasso or Our Flag Means Death — but for middle schoolers.
Grounded in Paul’s relationships with his family and his best friend, with a touch of magical realism, this show explores outgrowing the expectations society places on us all.
