Hardware & Ecosystem Support:

AudioSwitcher natively handles all direct-attached protocols: USB, DisplayPort, HDMI, Thunderbolt, and Bluetooth connections.

Things to note:

AirPlay: Per modern Apple guidelines, 3rd party apps cannot view or stream to native AirPlay or AirPlay 2 targets.
HDMI Volume: HDMI output leaves volume adjustment to the physical renderer (e.g., your TV or monitor); it cannot be modified via Mac system software.
Headphone Jack: On select Apple hardware, inserting physical headphones hardware-disables the internal laptop speakers.
