Choose from advanced electronic signatures and qualified electronic signatures (QES).

SecureSign offers a variety of signature types (Click-2-Sign, Type-2-Sign, Draw-2-Sign, Biometric Signature, Remote Certificates, One-Time Certificates, and more) and even allows you as the sender to decide for yourself which signature types are available for the signer.

SecureSign has its name for good reason: All communication with our service takes place via encrypted channels (HTTPS, TLS).
We support MFA (multi-factor authentication) for signers and strong encryption for biometric signatures.
These and other features guarantee you the best signing experience
Yes, SecureSign produces legally valid digital signatures under eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014. SecureSign supports both the advanced electronic signature (AES) and the qualified electronic signature (QES). A document signed with a QES meets the statutory written form requirement under § 126a of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB) and replaces a handwritten signature. SecureSign is operated by SecureCloud GmbH, headquartered in Neumarkt i.d. OPf., Germany, on data centers located in Germany.
SecureSign offers Click-2-Sign, Type-2-Sign, Draw-2-Sign, biometric signatures, remote certificates, and one-time certificates. This covers the full range from simple electronic signatures to the qualified electronic signature (QES). As the sender, you decide for each signature folder which signature types the signers can choose from — matched to the legal risk and internal compliance requirements of the respective document.
The advanced electronic signature (AES) uniquely identifies the signer and makes any subsequent changes to the document detectable. The qualified electronic signature (QES) additionally meets the requirements of eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 for a qualified certificate issued by a trust service provider and replaces the statutory written form under § 126a of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB). SecureSign supports both levels, so you can pick the appropriate signature strength per use case.
All documents processed with SecureSign remain exclusively in Germany. SecureCloud GmbH operates the platform on its own hardware at the data center of noris network Aktiengesellschaft (AG) in Nürnberg and is a German company with no US parent company. SecureSign is therefore not subject to the US Cloud Act. The platform is attested under the Federal Office for Information Security Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue (BSI C5) and follows our #nobackdoor commitment.
In three steps: You create a signature folder in the web-based interface, place signature fields on the document with a drag-and-drop document designer, and send the folder to the signers. An automatic assistant guides signers through the document so no required field is missed. Once completed, the signed document is automatically returned to all participants. Drafts and templates accelerate recurring signing processes.
Yes, SecureSign supports batch processing in signature folders. Multiple documents are signed in a single, bundled flow — saving time on recurring processes such as employment contracts, quotes, or order confirmations. Signing tasks can be delegated, multiple parties can sign in parallel, and signers choose their preferred signature type. The Microsoft Office plugin lets you push documents directly from Word or Excel into new signature folders with a single click.
SecureSign encrypts all communication exclusively over HTTPS and Transport Layer Security (TLS). SecureSign supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) for signers, and biometric signatures are additionally protected with strong encryption. The service follows a security-by-design approach and runs on SecureCloud's own hardware in the German data center of noris network Aktiengesellschaft (AG). SecureCloud is attested under the Federal Office for Information Security Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue (BSI C5).
