Pretty Guardian Sailormoon, known as "PGSM" for short, is Toei's new Live-Action Sailor Moon Series. The show premiered in Japan on October 4, 2003. It is based around popular Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon Anime & Manga. Five school girls fight the evil Dark Kingdom with help from their "plushie"/CGI cat advisors in order to save the world from destruction. Love, romance, friendship, and action abound in this sentai-style Japanese children's show.
